Chalet Le Loissel is a beautiful family run Alpine farmhouse set in the beautiful French farming village of Le Loissel, Villaroger ,Les Arcs, " a true home from home". Here in  the heart of the Haute Tarentaise this Alpine hamlet is full of natural charm and beauty. Away from the hustle and bustle of commercialised resorts you will sample typical French Alpine lifestyle with all the home comforts. Looked after by the owners "Jonny and Kumari" who have years of experience in the Chalet business and know what makes a fabulous holiday, you can be assured that your holiday will be memorable. With amazing skiing in World famous high Altitude resorts ,Gorgeous food, Beautiful surroundings  and a very high level of personal service , we are the perfect place to stay for your SKI or SUMMER holiday. Bookings are taken by the room , so we are perfect if you are a couple, family or group of friends. During the Summer bookings are self catered for the whole chalet.    During the winter some of the worlds best skiing is only minutes away from our door, the nearest being a four minute drive to Paradiski comprising of Les Arcs and La Plagne. This is one of the largest ski areas in the world, which we enter via the chairlift at Villaroger. Although there is endless skiing in Paradiski (over 425km of pistes and 143 lifts), our neighbouring resorts of Val D'Isere, Tignes, La Rosiere and Sainte Foy are only a 15-20 minute drive away. This enables you to ski up to 7 different resorts , visiting a different place every day, if you wanted to. For those that may think twice about having a four minute drive to the lift instead of being situated ski in - ski out which means within walking distance of a lift or piste, we would like to add that the short four min drive brings you to a free carpark with a lift pass office next to the skilift, in the beautiful unspoilt village of Villaroger. No queues here to get up the mountain, and also no long walk in clumpy skiboots , carrying heavy skis , not to mention dragging the kids . A lovley Alpine Bar at the bottom of the slope for that well earned drink , we ask you which would you prefer?     We are totally flexible on bookings meaning you can come and stay for a week, 10 days, long weekend or short midweek break, making use of the cheaper flights.During the Summer we offer the chalet on a Self Catering basis.

The food is just as important as the skiing and everything is freshly prepared by ourselves. You will start the day with a hearty breakfast , delicious homemade cakes will await your return from the slopes for you to enjoy , and before dinner you can  treat yourself to a dip in the out-door hottub. Pre - dinner drinks and nibbles are taken around a roaring fire, before a beautiful 4 course evening meal accompanied by good BOTTLED wine is served, and the tales of the day are relived. An idea of what you can expect to be eating during your week is:- STARTERS: Roasted pumkin Soup with Gruyere Cheese Chirizo, Parmesan and Rocket Salad Aubergine and Mint Bruchetta MAIN COURSES Five Spiced Duck Breast with Stir fry Vegetable Sticks Roast Lamb with Garlic, Rosemary and Anchovies, served with Dauphinoise Potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. Crispy Oven Roasted Belly Pork with a caramelised Apple Sauce, served with Wild Rice and a Ribboned Carrot , Cucumber and Mint Salad. Desserts Delia's Fabulous Sticky Toffee Pudding Hot Chocolate Fondants with Vanilla Ice Cream Cardamon infused panacotta Skivillaroger offers you a holiday where you arrive as guests, but leave as friends, and that may be why 75% of guests do return.
